Our 2023 Spring Break trip will take us across the southern part of the National Civil Rights Trail as we will journey to the National Memorial for Peace and Justice.  Our trip will take us to King’s Childhood home, the sights of the Montgomery Bus Boycott, all the way to our walk across the Edmond Pettus Bridge.  During the trip, we will reflect on Christianity’s part in the movement toward (and away from) equal rights for people of color.  How can we learn from our past as we become a church committed to fighting racism externally and internally?

Participants’ contributions to the trip will be $150, with a scholarship available. Payment will be due when applications are accepted.
